2017 Like to Hike PinPeninsula State Park’s 2017 Like to Hike pin celebrates a White Cedar Nature Center favorite–the black-capped chickadee!

The Like to Hike program is in its 16th year!

Like to Hike promotes healthy, sustainable recreation. Beginning soon, pins are available for purchase at Peninsula for $3 for program participants, and $6 for those who do not participate.

How to Participate in 2017 Like to Hike

Ask for an activity log at Park Headquarters or the Nature Center or download one here.

1. Complete five or more silent sport activities in the L2H (Like to Hike) log. Activities can be modified for those with special needs. Trail maps are available at the Nature Center, Park Headquarters and Campground Host sites.

2. Use the log to record activities. Bring it to Park Headquarters or the Nature Center. Park staff will stamp the log, then you can purchase your 2017 pin.

3. 2017 L2H pins are available for $3 to those who complete five or more activities. Pins cost $6 to those who do not participate

4. Like to Hike emphasizes silent sports (hiking, snowshoeing, biking, skiing, paddling) which promote health and resource appreciation.
