Invasive Work Day Scheduled for May 17th

The “Battle of the Invasives” continues.  We will be meeting Tuesday, May 17th at 9:00AM.  Anyone who can help should meet her at the Light House parking lot.  The plan is to work every Tuesday from 9:00AM to 11:00AM  weather permitting.   This week we will be pulling and spraying Garlic Mustard.

If you have any questions, please contact me using the form on this page.

Thank you in advance for your willingness to help with this large and necessary effort.

Horseshoe Island: Horseshoe Island, the only island that is part of Peninsula State Park, is picture perfect from Nicolet Bay. It lies about one mile north of the park's popular swimming beach. It is accessible only by boat. Engelmar Trail, a one-mile rustic path, meanders the circumference of the 38-acre island.
